Our Founders

Justin Shults, Founder & CEO

With over 20 years in aviation and 200+ combat sorties, Justin has a deep background in helicopter aviation from his active-duty Air Force career. After managing military training programs in Afghanistan, he served as a Group 2 & 3 UAS instructor with Boeing/Insitu, further honing his drone expertise. Today, Justin leads all daily operations at Gorge Drones, driving innovation and regulatory compliance (FAA Part 107, Part 137 in progress) to deliver safe, reliable aerial solutions.

Andrew Gibson, Co-Founder

A highly decorated USAF Flight Engineer, Andrew currently serves as a Master Sergeant in the 129th Rescue Squadron out of Moffett Airfield. With multiple combat search and rescue deployments under his belt, Andrew brings extensive operational insight and a passion for serving the local community. His partnership ensures that Gorge Drones remains rooted in the values of integrity, precision, and professionalism.
